ABOUT ME

MY BIO

My passion for photography began at a young age, sparked by my godmother who instilled in me a love for the camera. She gifted me my first cameras, cutting-edge gadgets of their time—a camera with an integrated flash, and later, a Rollei analog camera with a sizable film roll that took weeks to develop.

Growing up in a provincial setting surrounded by nature, I developed a deep appreciation for the wonders around me—wonders I longed to relive and capture. Photography became my means to cherish and revisit those breathtaking moments.

As my family grew with the arrival of my children, my passion for photography intensified. Witnessing the miracle of life ignited a desire to capture every precious moment, a desire that continues to drive me forward.

WHAT STARTED AS A HOBBY EVOLVED INTO A JOURNEY OF LEARNING AND GROWTH.

I began taking photography courses at institutions such as Casa Lamm, Tecnologico de Monterrey, and the now extinct Kodak. When digital cameras started I went to the International Center of Photography in New York City., where I took several Printing, Fine Art Photography, and Retouch courses.  I dived into landscape photography under the guidance of Ansel Adams' disciples, not only mastering the technical aspects but also embracing the art of observation and appreciation for our ever-changing world.

Through my lens, I've encountered remarkable individuals and breathtaking landscapes. I've learned that every person has something valuable to offer, regardless of background or status.

Photography isn't just a hobby, it's a form of therapy that allows me to reflect and appreciate the beauty of life. When I see nature, the people, and the city, I perceive the greatness of humanity, but above all, the greatness of life and of God.

Through my photography, I place on record my life and my feelings, aiming to leave a mark on Earth.
